Kent State University has received a $1 million grant to develop a distance-learning translation studies program. (Karen Farkas, cleveland.com) KENT, Ohio – Kent State University has received a $1 million grant to develop a state-of-the-art distance learning translation studies program. The Institute for Applied Linguistics received the grant from from the Gawlicki Family Foundation of Hartford, Connecticut. The institute was founded at Kent State in 1988 and serves more than 100 undergraduate and graduate students.
