With 982 students failing the Class-12 board exams and 1,790 out of a total 10,742 getting compartments this year, city government schools were still able to witness a rise of 6.41% in the pass percentage compared to last year. THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights(KeSCPCR) has directed that Wakf organisations keeping children in custody or offering religious education should be registered under the Section 35 of the 1995 Wakf Rules before the Wakf Board, in addition to its legal registration as per the government rules.
