Wake Tech works to improve success gap between seated, online classes

Online college courses offer convenience and flexibility, but they also come with challenges. Wake Technical Community College looked at some of its most popular classes in 2015 and noticed students were not doing as well in the online classes as they were in the traditional “seated” classes. From this academic session, engineering colleges across the country will have to refund the fee collected from the students in case they don’t join the course or if they leave midway. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has also directed the institutes not to withhold the school/institute leaving certificates of students.
