Mumbai University does it yet again! It has extended the deadline for admissions to the Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL). Students can enrol for distance education courses till September 30 with late fees. Admissions are closed for BSc-IT and MCA courses. The deadline extensions is for the following courses: BA, BCom, and B Sc (Computer Science, Nautical Technology), MA, MA (Education), M.Com, MA/MSc (Maths) M Sc (IT, Computer Science), PGDFM and PGDORM. Last year, around 80,000 students had taken admission in IDOL and this year around 74,000 candidates have already enrolled. Currently, 39,000 students are enrolled for under graduate courses and 35,000 students are enrolled for post graduate courses.
