In this recruitment process, the government is going to hire candidates for 2976 vacancies. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed in minimum 12th or 10th class or 8th class for SC candidates or 5th pass for Naxals affected families from any recognized board of MP and Chhattisgarh. For tradesman posts candidates should be passed 8th or 5th class and should have relevant experience in relevant trade.
Age Limit: Applicant must have lower age 18 years and upper age will be 28 years as on 1st January 2016. Age relaxation will be as per the government rules and regulation.
Application Procedure: Candidates to go to the Chattisgarh Police official website www.cgpolice.gov.in and click on the link given below and then click on ‘online application’. Read all the conditions and select ‘district code’ for the district you want to apply and ‘I agree’. Then fill your name, DOB and select the category (cast) and fill your address properly and enter your mobile number and e-mail ID. Read the declaration carefully and click on ‘I agree’ button and then confirm your filled details in application form. Upload your signature and photograph.
Application Fee: Rs 200 for general candidates & OBC and Rs.125 for candidates of other reserved category.
Selection Process: The candidate will be selected for GD Constable posts on the basis of document verification, Physical test, Medical test and written test. Physical endurance test will be 150 marks and written test for 100 marks. While for Constable tradesman posts, physical measurement and trade test will be taken. (50 marks for trade test written and 50 marks for practical test of trade knowledge – total 100 marks).
About IDBI: Chhattisgarh police are consisting of 18 armed battalions along with 9 India Reserve Bns. The working setup of this police department is divided into four ranges like Durg, Bilaspur, Surguja, and Batsar. The total number of sanctioned police stations under this government is 392 by March 2010. An automated Finger Print Bureau is also equipped with this force.
