If you’ve been thinking about taking one of Coursera’s many university-created computer science classes, now’s the time. Enterprise software company Atlassian is currently offering scholarships that cover half of all course fees to students who enroll.
Some of the great courses include Python for Everybody from the University of Michigan, Java Programming: An Introduction to Software Specialization from Duke University, Android App Development from Vanderbilt University, and Game Design and Development from Michigan State University. When you enroll for a class, you’ll see the offer before you pay (it looks like the screenshot above). Accept the offer and you’re all set. Keep in mind, however, the 50% off deal is available on a first come, first serve basis, and for a limited time only. So don’t drag your feet if you’ve thinking about taking one of these classes.
