Indian Navy has canceled the recruitment process for the post of Chargeman posts in Mechanical and Ammunition & Explosive disciplines in the organization. The organization has issued an official notice to inform the candidates about the cancellation of Advertisement no 02/2017 released in Employment News Vol XLII no. 36 dated 02-08 Dec 2017. The reason for cancellation as per the official notice released is still not disclosed.
The recruitment drive was to be conducted to fill up Chargeman posts for Mechanical and Ammunition & Explosive disciplines. A total of 99 posts was to be recruited in Directorate of Naval Armament Inspection, Ministry of Defence.
As for now, candidates who wanted to apply for Chargeman posts can apply for it through the new official advertisement released by the Organisation. This recruitment drive will fill up 172 posts of Chargeman (Mechanical and Ammunition & Explosive) at various commands. All the selected candidates would be posted in various Naval Armament Inspectorate (NAI) units at Depots/Ordnance Factories/DRDO labs/Quasi Military Establishment to undertake inspection/QA activities.
Candidates will have to appear for the written examination, as a part of the selection process. The examination will be conducted in different states. Candidates will be able to choose any three choices of the city from the list. Indian Navy also reserved the right to cancel/re-conduct examination for a particular center or allot/change the city of the candidate beyond the choices indicated by the candidates for administrative or other reasons.
The examination date and venue will ve send to the candidates who are shortlisted at their registered email ID or phone number.
