Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited is providing this financial assistance to the students of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe community who wish to pursue professional degree courses.
Last date of application is January 21, 2019
The applying candidates must meet the following pointers to be eligible:
- Indian students studying in India are eligible for this scholarship
- The applicant must be the 1st year student of graduation studying engineering or MBBS courses
- 1st year student pursuing master’s degree in Geology, Geophysics or MBA is also eligible
- The applicant must have secured at least 60% marks in class 12 for engineering/MBBS disciplines
- The applicant studying PG courses (Geology/Geophysics/MBA) must have scored at least 60% marks in graduation
- The gross annual income of the applicant must not exceed INR 4.5 Lakh (i.e., INR 37,500 per month)
- The applicant must not be more than 30 years of age as on November 1, 2018
A total of 1000 scholarships will be disbursed among the selected students, out of which 50% scholarships are reserved for girl students.
Important information
- Each selected student will get a scholarship amount of INR 48,000 per annum till the duration of the applicant’s course, subject to his or her conduct and performance in each year’s annual exam
- 494 scholarships are reserved for engineering students
- 90 scholarships are reserved for MBBS students
- 146 scholarships are reserved for MBA students
- 270 scholarships are reserved for students studying Master’s in Geology/Geophysics
