The University of Oxford is inviting applications for the Thatcher Graduate Scholarships for international students to pursue postgraduate degree for the academic year 2017-2018. The scholarship will cover 100% of university fees and a grant for living costs of at least £14,296 (Rs 12.22 lakh approx). Three shortlisted candidates will get the award. Awards will be given for the full duration of the candidate’s fee liability for the agreed course.
This scholarship is part of the Oxford Graduate Scholarships, which were established through a funding initiative to enable the creation of fully-funded scholarships for graduate students of the highest calibre from across the world. Applicants must be applying to start a new full or part-time course in one of the following departments: Faculty of English Language and Literature, Department of Engineering Science, Faculty of Law.
To be considered for this scholarship, candidates must submit their application for graduate study by the relevant January deadline for their course (January 6 or January 20, 2017).
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Applicants who hold deferred offers to start in 2017-18 are not eligible to be considered for these scholarships. For detailed information on the scholarship programme and application, click here.
