The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the results of junior engineer (civil, mechanical, electrical and quantity surveying and contract) Tier 1 examination 2016 on its official website.
Candidates can check their results, which were declared on Monday, by clicking here.
A total of 3,39,370 candidates appeared in the exam – 1,33,983 for civil, 90,321 for electrical and 1,15,075 for mechanical JE posts.
The commission has shortlisted 5,892 candidates for the Tier-II exams (descriptive paper) for civil engineering posts and 2,440 candidates for electrical/mechanical engineering posts. The schedule for the exam will be available on the concerned commission’s regional office website shortly.
The SSC said it has carefully examined the representations received against the answer keys and modified them where necessary. The modified answer keys have been used for evaluation.
The marks of the qualified and non-qualified candidates and final answer keys along with the question paper(s) will be uploaded on SSC’s official website shortly.
