Country star Tim McGraw said he is not ruling out a political career when his singing days are done.
The 49-year-old “Live Like You Were Dying” star, who is married to Faith Hill, has previously spoken about his interest in running for office after his children have all grown up – and he is still open to the idea, reported Contactmusic.
McGraw said his political desires stem from the opportunities he has been afforded in the US.
“I’ve been fortunate in my career and I probably wouldn’t have been able to do the things that I’ve done, and had the success that I’ve had, and come from where I come from, in any other country than this country,” he said.
“It’s a great country. You always wanna look at ways that you can give back.
